Soon we will see the final 80° day of the year. One never knows. However, I prepared as if the change is sooner rather than later. I washed all bed linens today including comforter and blanket. I like everything nice and tidy going into fall, kinda like spring cleaning for winter. Comforter and blanket dried over my balcony railing in gusty Wyoming wind.
A few minutes ago, I pulled everything, bringing them in for the evening.
The smell. If I could bottle fresh linen drying in nature fragrance, I would have nine million dollars and a pink cupcake.
Corporations try to mimic nature scents and are wretched good-for-nothing failures.
It seems there's a hint of Snake River and Tetons mixed in with my signature scent detergent.
Heavenly.
Fall, you beautiful hunk of season, I'm ready for you.
Excuse me while I bury my face in nature's incomparable luxury.
