I laughed out loud, uproariously so, possibly disturb-the-neighbors-raucous-loud.
STOP
What WAS that?
Pausing, reflecting, surprising myself, I’m absolutely positive my cortisol levels dropped, brain chemistry performed happy dances, synapses - neurons shouting to one another YO, did you hear that, to cells far far away - everyone getting jiggy with it, even to the tips of my toes perhaps.
Party in the brain, all y’all.
So simple.
While in Whole Foods recently chatting with an associate, she’d observed folks stressed, much more than usual. Is it any wonder? The world is one big dumpster fire.
I don’t have the happiness molecules figured out, but I know laughter is very good cheap (free) medicine.
Note to self:
Find something to deep belly laugh about every dang day, okay?
