Today:
A nurse, a chemist, and a dog. Imagine our conversation. These folks were heaven sent.
Hoback 500 takes on new meaning after the catastrophic failure of the pass. I feel deep in my soul for families who depend on the pass to get to work. Times are crazy, and the added stress of (in many cases) double the time to and from work, makes life even more challenging.
Where’s my magic wand?
A Turkish friend ripped off a couple new words for me today, put a smile on my face. (I’ve been offering a word or two here and there, to him.) As he was walking out the door he gifted them to me, unexpectedly. I knew what he said without knowing what he said. After racing home via the Hoback 500, I whipped out Google Translate to confirm. Sure enough he’d offered gratitude.
It was a good day, not in the way good is normally defined. You know, all happy and picture-perfect. It was good in the I-see-you-God-even-in-the-sucky-times-kind-of-good.
Blessed.
Nite nite.
