She's a wonderful client, her, and her husband. They are even better friends.
She came bearing gifts, toting a nice size wrapped package, using both hands to carry the gift.
Panettone.
I'd only recently heard of panettone and in fact purchased a miniature size for a dear friend, not knowing the first thing about panettone. I just thought it sounded cool.
In she walks, this dear client, with the biggest cake, panettone, I've ever seen. The best in the world I'm told.
Opening it a few days before Christmas, partaking with a steaming cup of coffee, it is indeed delicious. Coffee is the gateway drug to biscotti, cookies, and cakes. I'm in heaven.
Christmas day I decide to toast a couple slices of panettone, per colleague and client's suggestion. I also melt a smidge of butter to pour over the slices of perfection.
Ambrosia.
Pure ambrosia.
Her handwritten notes touch my heart. Every. Time. Panettone is darn near as good as her heart felt, handwritten sentiments.
Deep, authentic connections.
Thank you, P&M.
