Oh Maggie Rose you are worth every Bark Box. I was grateful to have you home after your adventures. I love you so.
From October 25, 2018 after Maggie Rose's 15 day adventure:
Happy day, y’all -
Mom and I picked up my Bark Box last week - ”Night of the Ghost Squirrels 2: Children of the Acorn”. My favorite toy is ’Ralph Hits the Road’, pictured below. Scary, but I live for adventure. And Bark Boxes.
The best treat so far is The Snackening treats for DOGS. Not cats. George W can't read, apparently. The only trick he knows how to do consistently is sit. SIT. SMH. I could sit when I was a few weeks old. And yet George W receives a treat when I come back in from potty break. He does know one other trick...he hides behind the shower curtain and waits to ambush me. This almost scares the wee wee outta me, but it doesn't, because I like my treat for going outside to potty.
Around the time he is about to get on my last nerve, he does something sweet like going outside and not returning until bedtime.
At the grocery store last week, a nice lady walks up to Mom and asks if I'm the missing dog. Seriously, she did. We didn't know her. When mom gave an affirmative nod, the lady wanted to touch me, pet me, and SCOLD me. She scolded me for misbehaving and worrying all of Jackson. I took it all in stride, ducked my head in submission and regret for my ’journey’. Another lovely lady visited Mom at work, along with Annie, her dog. She met my mom on day 12, she tells her. (It kinda sounds like a hostage situation.) She and momma hugged. Humans.
One person even suggested a welcome home party. She is my favorite. A round of treats for everyone!
Another lady said, ”That schnauzer is a character.” I HAVE character. And poise and grace. And I listen to my mom often telling herself ’never quit’. Worked for me.
Love and snuggles to all,
Maggie Rose the Schnauzer 🐾
