Strangely Dim

Here is my offering, a glimpse of hope — springtime, sunshine, Maggie Rose, and happy! That dog and I showed up to soak up the beauty of our new season today, opening all our windows and door, walking the Snake, and enjoying every single beautiful minute of sunshine. I've done a poor job of documenting anything this winter, dribbles here and there of this and that. It's been a long hard winter. Does wonder cease? Only if we don't open our eyes, only if we focus on what WE want, what WE think we need when reality and our faith, focusing on the face of God, the love of God, brings every good thing to us.

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace."

Read it again:

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

There is always hope.

(The first pictures are from today, still so much snow but rising temperatures will make short work of the white stuff. The last two pics are the exact same date, pretty much the same spot a few years ago proving we indeed experienced record snowfall in Wyoming this blustery, messy, intense winter.)
