She makes her to-do list and smiles.
Memories.
Wash clothes.
Groom brows, ha!
Pick up a few groceries, nothing prepackaged or processed please.
It's payday, yay!
And don't forget to take the car by to have whatever the hidden ice trap jarred loose underneath her reliable car repaired.
Sigh ...
The thought of spending money on the car should make her cringe. And yet she smiles.
Everything works out perfectly, every time.
Faith.
And fate.
She's happily strolling downtown not focused on anything. Two ladies visiting merrily with one another, enjoying snow and mountains approach her, one murmuring, "You are rocking it! You look like a bombshell walking down the boardwalk." The ladies continue their happy way, off to new adventures not realizing though one smiles broadly the heart may cry. They made a positive difference that day.
Bombshell.
Whew.
For the rest of the day, she held her head high, shoulders back, smiled, and remembered the secret gift of strangers.
Bombshell.
She takes notes.
Pay it forward you little vintage bombshell.
Make someone's day with kind words.
That pretty little car? It will be fine, just fine.
Faith.
Taking notes.
