Schnauzer Power Memories

I overheard mom’s conversation tonight,” I take Maggie Rose and George W to the vet tomorrow, yearly checkup”, she tells our friend.

She told George last week he was going to the vet, but she’s not reminded him. He seems obtuse. He’s not. If she pulls the kennel out tonight, he will disappear until after 5 p.m. tomorrow. I’m serious. His language skills are impressive.

Tomorrow is vaccination day, and inevitably, my butt will be squeezed. Anywhere else this would be against the law, illegal. During a vet visit, this is another day at the office. Kinda freaks me out, a little. George doesn’t get his fanny squeezed, this being the true injustice. Squeeze me, squeeze the cat.

The scales are also inevitable, and I may be wearing an extra pound of fur, as I’m way late getting groomed. This has nothing to do with lack of activity or overindulgence at the feed trough. I've asked mom to politely request they subtract a pound at weigh-in, allowing for extra fur. Scales are rather annoying, especially wintertime weigh-in. I'm feeling a little bloated. I'm so shaggy mom tells me I look like a bernidoodle, minus the cute little brown patches. Since they are cute little boogers, I don't mind being compared to another pup.

Okay, time to rest. (I snore lately, mom tells me. Must be the extra fur.)

Till next time, Schnauzer Power.

xoxo
