Be Still

"You can only hear your life sing — when you still."

Father God, you tell me to still. For the very best of reasons. So today, I will. I've been missing the songs far too long.

Lately scripture has pointed me to be still, repeatedly. I once had an acquaintance who suggested I still. The very word — still — causes me to wiggle more. 

Today I will practice stillness and calm. And I will listen.
