I read recently that aspens quake, or shake, as the wind blows. Walking through the woods where Maggie was spotted Thursday morning, the aspens did just that, a whole lotta quaking and shaking.
Yelling Maggie’s name, to seemingly no one in particular, I feel and appear, I’m quite sure, like the crazy woman on the mountain. She done lost her mind. Do you ever feel that way? Crazy? Rest assured, my friends, you are not the crazy one. The certifiable crazies are those who stand up and yell, “ I’M NOT CRAZY!!!”...Trust me.
I like my anonymity. My quiet life. My personal information is now posted everywhere. Maggie Rose is worth it.
I’m riding up the lift to wait on Maggie. I’m prepared - Maggie’s blanket, her treats, DQ burger and onion rings, phone charger, gum, and my one dollar A&M rain poncho. I decided if I were going to be up here a while, I may as well be inebriated - so I picked up a sloshy - large. Surely she will be at the top when I arrive, as I will be loaded and can’t drive. But she will be so worth a nap in the parking lot.
Prayers please.
