How many stories do you have time for today?
Let's start with this...
Apparently, and this is coming from a very reliable source, snow plow contracts were not renewed, so, for over a week now, heavy snowfall daily, we have only been plowed two or three days with any noticeable, appreciative change. I'm being generous. (Actually at this point I WISH I were plowed. Our PROPERTY, the property wasn't cleared, plowed.) I suggested property management ask him if he has a tiny plow. When he did make it out, rookie mistakes ensued. Everywhere.
Waste management was unable to empty trash yesterday, while trying to back up to the bin.
Plow service is now active. Finally. He was here between 2a.m. - 3a.m. this morning, I heard him. Another resident spoke with him.
Someone cleared my car of snow this morning. When I found out who pushed snow off my car, I rushed him with my arms up in the air for a hug. He may or may not have military or LE experience, as he lifted his arms in self defense. HA!!! I still got my hug. He also received profuse thanks.

Guys, when your integrity is questioned, and your worth and integrity should be quite obvious and is proven, make a change.
People should choose words wisely, especially leadership, as we've previously discussed — life lessons. People should also use caution ambushing non-combatants. Me personally? It takes a lot to push me to anger, but once there, I'm done. I loathe anger. Very little good ever comes from such a useless emotion, if any.
I will choose my words wisely, yet again, however, if someone needs/uses emoticons to determine truth and integrity, I'm not your gal. I'm not playing games, chasing the moving cheese.
Don't wait until you are my age to set and enforce boundaries.
Just don't.
The meme included is unfortunately especially true during the times in which we live. Guess what? We don't have to play by those rules. If people want to reward dishonesty and bad behavior, don't waste valuable time, don't play, move on.
Might I suggest you take a stand as well.
Throughout my life I've seen too many people not stand up to injustices, and with seemingly sound reason. Though the reason may be good, loss of job, loss of benefits, fill in the blank, the price of not saying anything eventually catches up with up with all of us.
Finally, a dear, dear person close to me has been very sick, life-threateningly sick. Please pray for this person, without ceasing. When I lose this person, I lose an advocate and a leader. My prayer is that this person outlives me.
Stress the past week has been overwhelming.
The last thing anyone needs when stress is high (frankly, stress is high for everyone these days), is unjustified personal attacks in the midst of crisis.
Shake it off, get up, remember your faith. Pray. Leave the big stuff and even the little stuff for Almighty God to rectify.
If we are tired of nonsense, imagine how weary God is of seeing evil propagate on the daily.
My prayers have been answered in a mighty way this year. I will be asking for God's mercy and protection more than ever before, and I will be praying for justice daily, for those left to defend themselves.
Pray.
