I awoke to a wonderful message. Someone playing piano, quietly, beautifully, peacefully.
I prepared coffee prior to listening to the clip. This is how I treat all gifts I receive from others. These are meant to be enjoyed, treasured, for as long as possible.
I savored every note. I'll play it again and again.
At this point there is no sharing of the gift I received from a friend, and that's okay. I completely understand. My piano time is MY time, for my ears only.
Let's explore this a little further.
Remember "This Little Light of Mine?"
This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine.
This little light of mine,
I'm gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Won't let Satan blow it out,
I'm gonna let it shine.
Won't let Satan blow it out,
I'm gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Let it shine til Jesus comes,
I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine til Jesus comes.
I'm gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Hide it under a bushel - NO!
I'm gonna let it shine.
Hide it under a bushel - NO!
I'm gonna let it shine,
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Let it shine over the whole wide world,
I'm gonna let it shine.
Let it shine over the whole wide world,
I'm gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Gifts are given to each, abundantly. Discover your gift(s), nurture, and let them shine.
Rest assured, you have at least one.
No one can take your gift. Get rid of the bushel. Let it shine over the whole wide world.
Someone needs you to share your gift today.
I'm praying for you.
Matthew 5:14-16 of the King James Version gives: "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
