Picking up mail after work yesterday, I’d received Ann Voskamp’s new release, “Be the Gift—let your brokenness be turned into abundance”.
Timely.
Seems like we can always use more wisdom, let go of more pride, and love others when they seem most unloveable.
My new book fell open to this, simply by chance: “Transend this life by giving yourself for someone else. Maybe that’s how you peel back everything that distracts and cheapens and derails a life.” She continues, “Viktor Frankl, Auschwitz survivor and author of ‘Man’s Search for Meaning,’ says meaning comes when one does something that points, and is directed, to something, or someone, other than oneself...by giving himself to a cause to serve or another person to love.”
Reconciling this truth—I care about people, deeply—and learning how to respond in love is key, right?
Wisdom.
Grace.
