No Control

Frustrated this past week I messaged my Aggie mentor.

Her reply was to the point, simple, and ‘why didn’t I think of that’, rather than getting frustrated:

“There are things outside of our control.”

When I’m tired my mind wants no part of reason. Just fix the problem, dang it.

And if I’m tired, disorganized, and my environment is chaotic, nope, nope, nope.

Structure rocks.

I needed this — calm, reason.

Thank you smarty pants for handing me seven words, words that turned chaos into order, frustration into chill.

I love you chickie.
