This is too good not to read.
I love his stories.
I loved taking classes, learning to be a better writer, expand my vocabulary, edit for hours and still not be satisfied with my work. It is an ongoing process.
So now I write and try not to go back too much and obsess.
If book and movie deals come around, editors can deal with poor grammar and proper, better phrasing.
But here’s the deal…I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. Writing is subjectively graded sometimes, in higher education and professionally.
I don’t know about Sean, but for me I write to make people laugh. Or to help them to remember there’s always hope. Or to remind them to continue to learn, to listen to others, to their stories, and to be kind and love, even when our world is spinning out of control.
I write to remind myself of the good I see every dang day.
I write to remind myself to choose happy.
