Harley Time

How about something other than COVID-19?

Dating over 50, this can be almost as intimidating as the virus, not deadly, though it feels as if it could be, at times.

I can’t believe it’s been three years, since I took this ride. I was appalled when he headed towards Idaho, rather than the Tetons. I was later rewarded with a ride through beautiful Swan Valley. What a day.

One thing I noticed during my Harley ride: driving away from the mountains was uninspiring. I think my lifeblood was slowly being sucked out. Coming back, I livened up. I don't know what it is, but when I moved here I came home. (I may have said this a time or two in the past.)

Swan Valley was new to me. Oh my goodness what a breathtaking drive. The creeks and rivers coming back to life after a hard winter, the sounds of water flowing over the rocks, glittery snow still covering much of the mountain side, blue sky smiling down, all the senses engaged. Nice, really nice. My peace comes from my faith and from this place. From this my home.

Rock on mama. ✌️
