Shared Humanity

Laundry day brought a few tears. The reason for allergy eyes - this is the last laundry day I will be non-weight bearing.

Once everything was loaded into my car, I just sat for a minute, grateful for the sweet lady who retrieved the cart I was gently nudging back inside the laundry.

Two days, twelve hours, twenty minutes, and forty-five seconds.

Good people are everywhere. Some are more hesitant to smile, to shuck damn, useless mask. But flash them a Texas size smile, and their face lights up, after a long winter of government bull2020.

Recognition of shared humanity.

Freedom.
