She's a Rock Star

Nine more days.

I begin weaning off crutches in nine more days.

Nine days, fourteen hours, nineteen minutes and fourteen seconds.

I've made it — once again — by putting one foot in front of the other, knowing I can do anything. One step at a time.

This time around I've not had tendinitis in wrists and elbows. No injections needed. I've taken the time to rest, rather than push myself on crutches.

I'm about nuts. This too shall pass, soon.

I'm ready for work and for our wonderful guests.

I'm ready for mountains.

My physical therapist is a rock star. She keeps me in working order. Kaysha participated in gymnastics from the time she was three. She is a former college gymnast. I recently perused her blog and Insta account. I was blown away. She was/is a beast. I asked for, and was granted permission, to share pictures of her performing.

Kaysha knows my body, she knows I want to be active until the day I take my last breath. She encourages me when I'm a slug, when I'm not my normal self. She knows I will do the work, I will do whatever is asked of me. We are a team. We have confidence in one another.

God knows who we need before we need them.

Thank you Kaysha.

I'll include her blog and Insta account, check her out if you get a chance. Tell her Debbie sent you.
