She's One Sharp Cookie

I’ve done something right, but I can’t and won’t take credit for this.

My daughter called me this morning. We talked all morning. Anyone who knows her knows she is a spitfire. This child, umm, young lady, mother, articulates quicker, and more intelligently, than almost anyone I know. While I pause (I certainly haven’t always, still don’t at times), write my thoughts rather than verbalizing, whoa Nelly, this chick knows her stuff, lays out facts, stands up for those she loves and cares about, and presents succinctly, in a hot, fast minute. Let’s just say, for the sake of argument, she certainly did not get those skills from her dad. Or me. While current events and politics intrigue me, and are of great interest, she somehow knows currents events and politics while working, attending classes, and raising three children. She can work an angle. Seriously, I’m kinda left speechless. Who is this little powerhouse I raised?

She told me of her concern that people don’t know history, don’t know scripture, and certainly can’t string past, present, and future together.

Wow.

Establishment should be very worried, no joke. There are so many young people who are watching and learning, the quiet majority. They know history and will be damned if they will watch it repeated today.

Thank God.

Don’t think our young people aren’t paying attention. They are ready to take the fight, head-on with government, big-tech, and corporations.

Quietly, they are ready.

Let ‘em talk, just listen, interject seldom, so as to hear what’s spinning in those incredible minds. Listen even when you thought you would be out at the park by now, getting much needed fresh air, HA! These are times we never get back, ever.

I needed this today, her.
