Like Spaghetti to a Wall

The last time Texas and I talked we discussed languages. Spanish, French, Italian, and Latin. We reason the first three are similar, often. The last, Latin, is a contributor to the English language, roots and all, but not limited to English. Latin contributions are included in Spanish, French, and Italian languages as well. My eyes cross. So, MY thoughts are this: practice, just keep letting Babbel abuse me. Utilize Duolingo for the change up. And throw in podcasts, which are supposed to be beginner, but are TOTAL immersion, and I have very little clue as to what is being said. Beginner my fanny.

To top it off, I’ve learned I proficiently drawl in any language. I don’t need to be all fancy and stuff, but can’t I blend in a little? A tiny bit?

Slowing down and lowering my voice may help. Idk. I’m tired. I am, after all, 29.

Something is bound to stick sooner or later.
