Dance

I'm so excited, I'll be watching Fairfield Lady Eagles playing for back-to-back state basketball titles, shortly. I've not watched (nor attended) a live basketball game in years.

In the mean time...I've been catching up on favorite podcasts, Dan Bongino today. I'll give a very brief synopsis...dance. There is a video to illustrate his point. One person gets up to dance, a few follow, and then others begin to dance. It's kinda like what I learned years ago, concerning laughter: one laughs, another laughs, soon everyone is laughing. (I actually learned this in a women's bible study group.) It's true. Conversely, negative attitude is exceptionally contagious, way more contagious than 'rona. Remember what I'm telling you.

People are afraid to stand up and be heard. Money is power. Powerful, misguided, people most definitely come after small potatoes when challenged. I told a dear friend years ago, where there is great wealth, there is great corruption. Not all wealthy are corrupt, however...

Enough. We have to stand up, don't let one person dance alone, the more who dance the better. And that's scary to establishment, politics and otherwise. I've pretty much always marched to the beat of a different drummer. I've hated myself because of this, at times. Why can't I be like everyone else? NO!!!! How boring, unoriginal, followers?!!! It's taken me decades to understand what I personally bring to the table. God made us different for a reason. One of my bosses told me, "It would be a boring world if everyone was the same." (I'd apologized basically for my quirky ways, thinking.)

Don't live in fear. Dance. Don't leave one to fight for all, this has gone on long enough.

See something, think first, say something, do something. Dance. Others are learning to dance, it may not be pretty, but they are learning to dance.

Come on folks, stick together, different beliefs and all.

I know what I bring to the table, and now, after all these years, I'm not afraid to eat alone, dance alone. My favorite t-shirt  sports something similar.
