Francisco complimented my hair this morning: “your hair is pretty, and um, big, bouncy.” I smile, letting him know it’s Texas hair. He asks, everything’s bigger in Texas, ‘eh? Yes, indeed, Francisco, everything is bigger in Texas. I adore Francisco.
As soon as I unlocked the door, Jules pranced right in with her fancy box of homemade goodies. No one believed she baked them herself, they are that good. And she brought me my own box. Divine.
Maria, with housekeeping, snuck in the office late this evening, with homemade tamales, oh my goodness. She included several different type tamales, my mouth is watering thinking about them. I hugged her so tight, before remembering social distancing. I desperately needed that hug.
My colleague left me a lovely gift bag of goodies.
Several of my favorite guests stopped by today with big smiles and happy hearts. And Texans, Texas Aggies to be exact. ‘99 both he and she. He did a tour with the Navy, and then attended A&M, a true patriot, as many Aggies are. Have mercy, I wanted to hug them too.
It was a long, busy day, for which I’m grateful.
God is so good to me. He blessed the work of my hands. He is faithful.
Thank you Heavenly Father. Thank you for each of the precious souls you place in my life.
