Tonight’s Spanish lesson: math in Spanish.
What the hell? I just want to cómo te llama, padre. Silencio. No math.
Question, shouldn’t I master math in English before botching it in Spanish?
It’s simple math though, I’m exaggerating a little, because it makes the story better. (An alphabet agency friend and I were discussing non-negotiables years ago. My peeve is lying, do you lie? Only if it makes the story better. I laughed then, I laugh now. I agreed. Such good memories.)
Back to Spanish, all languages. Our multilingual friends are so much smarter than us, leaps and bounds smarter.
And, I learned when I went back to school at 53 that I can indeed do math. Now I just need to work it in with everything else and become proficient.
