Come to find out she's from California. The gun laws are insane in California, from what I read. Yes, she tells me, California is insane. We are looking for a place here. Yayyy!!! (Her and everyone else. Who can blame them?)

Recently a lovely rep who owned a home on the coast in LA moved to Utah. The thing that sealed the deal for moving, for her, was one morning she was taking her dog for a walk along the ocean, her usual routine. As she tried to open her gate to get to the coastline, she met resistance, pushed again, couldn't get the gate open. She looked over the gate and down. Lo and behold, an addict was passed out, at her gate, with drugs and paraphernalia strewn about. She told her husband that day, get me out of here. And he did.

This is a crying shame. Why would we ever allow the leaders of failed cities to run our country? Needs are not being addressed, and in the meantime those who support their struggling economies are leaving, in droves.
