Asparagus was buy BOGO at Albertsons, can't pass on a deal with veggies.
First dish is the usual: asparagus brushed with garlic butter, wrapped in bacon, cooked a 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes, sprinkle with pepper and red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese. I didn't feel the need to add salt.
Second dish is Creamy Asparagus Soup. I don't have heavy cream on hand, so I'll add it tomorrow. Oh man does it smell delicious cooking. A warm bowl of soup is always nice after work. I'll pick up cream tomorrow on my way home. Yum.
