Proper Communication

My mind isn’t shutting off tonight, though I’m tired. I ran across this C. S. Lewis quote. I like C.S. Lewis. I signed up for a class online to learn more about him.

Last week I signed up to audit a class through University of Pennsylvania, Wharton, Improving Communication Skills. (Because 'up yours' apparently isn't a proper way to communicate. Better communication is always a good idea.) I’ve barely started and I really like the professor and subject matter. Did you know there is an abundance of free material available to all who want to learn? Doesn’t cost a dime. Amazing.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I heard that somewhere, a hundred years ago.

And then there’s the concealed carry I really need to take care of soon. I’ve paid for the course, it’s time to dig in, get it done. Wyoming is constitutional carry, all good and fine, but guess what? Texas is not. What’s wrong with this picture? Texas, you surprise me.  Anyway, it’s good to have CC though I have no intention of ever leaving my beautiful little isolated world.

Spanish was quick tonight. When speaking or writing Spanish I reverse English, ha, when translating. So far so good. The similarities between Spanish and French are cool. Throw in Italian and I can really confuse the brain. I’ll wait.

Focus.

Well, I’m gonna try to rest.

Nite nite y’all.
