Today is hump day. While getting ready for work this morning I listened to tributes to John McCain. Apparently I wasn’t unique concerning my political disagreements with the senator. However, his heroism and sacrifice for our country was never, not one time, questioned. 

I will listen to Meghan McCain’s tribute to her father again. And again. I encourage you too, as well. I do not need to agree with someone, anyone, 100% in order to learn from them. 

We must continue to educate ourselves, not blindly follow ANY politician. We must be able to cite facts, not talking points. 

We must stand for something — with dignity, grace, and a little fire sometimes. 

Get back on the horse. Nothing is going to break you. Show them how tough you are.
