The Author Likes Attention

So much on my mind tonight.

This morning, I receive an email from an out of state acquaintance, one of those brainy types, attorney general’s office kinda guys. He’s quiet about his brainy-ness (a new word). I like ‘em quiet, I like ‘em smart, I like ‘em alpha, I like ‘em handy, nice hands. Where was I going with this?

Anyway, I sent him a picture of MY police officer, tell him about a bit of excitement.

“Did you mean to say that was you getting a ticket? For no mask? The forearms of the officer looked very masculine and hairy. Noticed a driver’s license in hand, too.” 🤣

I let him know I wasn’t ticketed, but I was warned.

“Unbelievable; was “Anthony” the owner? Or another patron of the laundry? If another patron, he has no right to ask for your personal information; he was assaultive towards you and worthy of a call to the police. I noticed a symbol on his mask resembling the New Mexico flag. Lot of coooks down there.” 🤣

He’s a crazy man. Smart but crazy.

I send him a copy of the masking ordinance for Jackson...

“I read most of the ordinance. Its recitation of unnecessary facts or statistics (ad nauseam) indicates the author likes attention he hopes to get from people who would take him seriously. Politics is filled with egotists. You know the 3 G’s of politics (from George Orwell)?”

Read that one more time, and laugh with me at the first part.

God blessed the work of my hands today. I’m grateful. And I’m tired.

Nite nite folks.

xoxo
