My daughter, when I ask about protesting versus rioting...

 

Her: 

 

Protests in Bryan/College Station have been peaceful.

 

What are people thinking, those who are rioting?

 

Do they not realize Hillary must testify concerning emails?

 

Do they not realize there is an election in November?

 

(She had more to say, deep deep thoughts concerning her instructors, diversity, which touched my heart DEEP, to the core.)

 

Me: 😳

 

Me thinking: Who are you and what did you do with my daughter?

 

Me, what I actually said: 😳 How do you know this (current events)? Mommm, I watch the news. 

 

In my head: Thank you Jesus. 

 

Me, actually out loud: I did something right. 

 

She smiles. 

 

She’s 23, babies running around, LOUD, and she articulates, concisely, in ten-seconds or less, today’s news, current events.

 

She then proceeded to make me crazy. Whatever. 

 

If she uses a quarter of her brain power, we’re still ahead of today’s norms. 

 

But please daughter, be a positive world changer with what God’s given you. Use your talents.
