Texas and Rice

First time preparing sticky rice, Botan Calrose, and it was perfect. I guess they’re right, the type rice one uses is important. Maggie received a little dab too, along with a few bites of chicken breast. She approved. George horned in on her plate, promptly meowing his appreciation. We’re a happy, stuffed family tonight. 

 

Texas called, we chatted over two hours, good times. She told me to make a nice vinaigrette with leftover wine from last week. I pull the wine out to do just that, somehow it ended up in a glass, wasn’t too much left, it just disappeared. 

 

I needed my Texas talk, all social distancing and stuff.
