Remember the boiled egg recipe I posted? Maybe not, so here it is again, with a little twist at the end...
Â
Bring a pot of water to boil, once rolling boil, gently deposit your eggs.
Â
Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and cover with lid for another 5 minutes. I like my boiled eggs on the softer side. You may want to add boiling time, one minute at a time, until you find your sweet spot.
Â
Rinse with cold water, if you have ice, add ice to the water. This helps to prevent the little divot on the fat end of the egg, esthetics. A little science. 😉
Â
Best results are achieved if you refrigerate overnight.Â
Â
I've obtained an approximate 90% success rate, peeling clean eggs, using this method.Â
Â
For me, not one to cook a lot, pulling an egg or two out of the fridge when I need a snack, works well for me. I toss one on my salad too. Not to mention, Maggie likes a bite of the egg white. She's special. So is George.Â
Â
Let me know if you try it, and how it works out for you.
