Make It Stop

I woke up feeling pretty spiffy today. Two consecutive days of moving the body does a body AND mind good. I came close to loading Maggie in the car and heading to gorgeous trails today. Instead, I purged a little, puttered around the house, cleaning a few windows, showering Maggie and me, we smell SO good, and I even threw on warmup bottoms for good measure—versus pajama pants. There’s no need to look like I’ve met ’Rona. Maggie suggested I may want to try on a pair of button pants before long, check for fit. Oh, Maggie.

So tonight I’m thinking what’s next? I suspect millions of Americans are thinking the same. My prayers are with families, children. Making sure George and Maggie are fed, protected, taking care of myself, this is easy. For families, those concerned about mortgages and car payments, food, and homeschooling kiddos, rest may not come easy.

Personally, I want to produce for my employer, I’ve found my way, my independence again. Making a difference is powerful.

Most people want to work, be productive, contributing members of society.

Soon.

Tonight, I’ve once again traded warmup bottoms for pajama pants.

I’m thinking of y’all, keeping you in my prayers.
