Well, mom tricked George and I this morning. I can tell you this, Mom stood the kennel on its end, grabbed George with a towel, dropped him in the kennel, slamming the door shut, before George knew what hit him. I think he donked his head too, because I heard a thud. Boy, she pulled a fast one, I didn’t see it coming, and George sure didn’t see it coming. She pulled the kennel out in stealth mode, last minute, taking everyone by surprise.
We made a trip to our drive-up vet. Mom said she could get used to this. We pull in, park, she calls Kelly, nurses come out, carry us in, violate our bodies, and BAM, we’re finished. Dr. Alex calls Mom, and after a brief consult, Mom is transferred to payment services, our nurses graciously deposit us back in our car. How cool is that?
George received his second feline something injection, and had his eye dilated. He freaks me out with one eye all HELLO, nothing but a black hole. Something about an iridial cyst. I will confess he still has the most beautiful aqua eyes, the left having a little leakage of cornea, it appears, not really, but I’m trying to give you a visual.
I’ve continued to bomdit, once a day, or in most cases, the middle of the freakin’ night. All vitals are normal, I’m prescribed a ‘slurry’, which sounds messy, and pantoprazole for my sick tummy. I downed my slurry, we can call it a slurpy, wasn’t all that bad. Good news—I can continue with a diet of boiled chicken, and even rice. Woohoo! So far so good.
This pandemic is weirding me out, just a little. Mom even said a nice, beautiful man scrambled her brain, what’s that about?
That’s all I’ve got for now. Y’all stay safe and calm.
xoxo
