Memories

I'm ready to ski again, post surgery, but I'll wait a bit. In the mean time, here's a memory from three years ago. As I vividly remember, the snow was like concrete this particular day, but oh what fun...

A Day in the Life

I fell once today, and it was EPIC. Right smack on my tail bone. Sucker hurt too. You would know, even with miles and miles of trail, a nice gentleman sees me bust it. I have my earphones in so I'm hoping he keeps walking. Just keep walking. Do not make eye contact. No. No he stops. Stops and tells me what caused me to fall. He then gives me a lesson.

I might sound a little bitter, testy. I'm not, not really. Maybe testy.

Once I let my pride slither away, I learned. A lot.

George, Maggie, and I celebrated Valentine's Day with Parmesan Chicken. After dinner I crawl under my electric blanket, ice bag under the tush, with George and Maggie coexisting peacefully beside me.

This diem was carped.

It was a good day.

Don't tell anyone, but I hate this s***, stuff...falling, the learning curve.

Not really. But I still suck. (Another S Word.) Harder on myself than anyone else. 😳

 Good news--I'm actually skating a bit. 👍
