I received a recorded message from a friend in Texas, via messenger, "I'm not sending Christmas cards this year. I got out my flute and recorded this instead. So relax.. soak up the atmosphere and enjoy.."
I don't open messenger attachments, most of the time, as I hear of friends being hacked, infected with viruses.
Eventually I open the attachment, thinking this could really be good. I wasn't disappointed.
Gentle piano, playing peacefully, quietly, a beautiful intro, I'm slowly relaxing, and then comes the flute solo...my EARS, mercy. Screeching, piercing, recorder flute type noises. Shrill.
One word: practice.
But seriously, I laughed hard and loud.
Magical indeed.
