Black Friday

We are prepared for holiday sales. And the mountain opens this year on Thanksgiving, yes!

Last year Black Friday was a huge success.

Not having time for lunch, I sure wanted to devour my salami, cheese, and grapes on the way home tonight. Only one problem - I didn’t wash my hands after counting money contaminated by strippers and drug dealers. You see, one of my colleagues felt the need to provide visuals of every seedy place money comes in contact with, on the way to our registers. I could have gone the rest of my life happily NOT knowing these details.

My hangry self wrapped that salami and cheese safely in the sandwich bag, and I was able to snack on the way home tonight.

I’m guessing we’ve had about a foot of snow, the last 24 hours. Just a guess. Maggie looked like a little bearded snow plow running through and across the fresh powder. And she was loving every minute of play. She made me deep belly laugh. Every day I tell her how grateful I am that God saw fit to get her home to me. Maggie concurs. George reluctantly agrees, only because Maggie shares treats.

Life in the mountains NEVER gets old. Ever. This is heaven. My heaven.

Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
