Talking Head

Eyes: You’ve been reading too long, we’re tired.

Brain: Are you kidding me? Truly, is that a thing, reading too long, too much?

Eyes: We’re gonna hemorrhage. She’s not blinking often enough. For heaven sake, when she does blink, her eyelids are like sandpaper on our delicate outer-layer.

Brain: Don’t make me roll you guys.

Eyes: Two words—inadequate moisture.

Brain: Use it or lose it guys, you know this. She treats me like a muscle, though I’m far more complicated.

Eyes: You’ve visited Dr. Google again, haven’t you? Overruled, brain. We’re closing shop in three, two, one.
