Perspective

Today I get to lay around with Maggie Rose and George W because rest does a body good. 

 

Tomorrow I get to begin walking again on two legs, because I have medical care and good doctors. 

 

Today, tomorrow, everyday I get to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, because I can, my choice. 

 

Soon I will get the oil changed in my car, because I’m blessed to own a car. 

 

Tomorrow I will get to wash clothes at the laundry, because I’m blessed to have a laundry, and once again I will have clean clothes, I get to wear clean clothes. 

 

Each day I get to step under a warm shower because I have running water, electricity, and plumbing. 

 

Each day I get to snuggle an aloof cat and a loving schnauzer, because I need animals in my life, I choose to have critters in my life. Really, they chose me, because they could. 

 

Each day I get to wake up in America, living free.
