Today's my girl's birthday. Her day's been pretty eventful, she took a nibble, a taste of what it feels like to experience success, outside the home, what it feels like to learn (knowledge) and continue learning. While she's a bit fiery like her mama, she's her own person.
My passion for experiencing more didn't happen until later in life, when I found focus. Now, I see opportunities everywhere, in everything.
This can be taught to some extent, I guess, by passionate teachers. For the most part I learn by doing. Experiencing the process brought immeasurable pride in sticking with the process, even when times were hard, and I thought failure was a sure deal. (I'm not articulating this very well. I need to find more words.)
What I'm trying to say, the long way around, is my girl knows this NOW, and she's not a quitter.
Ready or not world, here she comes.
