Kindness

The day was long, but fruitful. Late arriving home, Maggie does her thing, we come back upstairs, and I’m thinking turkey, cheese and tortilla rollup sounds good, easy. The pause for the knock on our door will be my reward. A neighbor offering a dish of bison burger, potato salad and corn almost brings me to happy tears. (I’m easy that way, y’all know this, soft heart, blah blah blah.) The offering is readily, almost greedily accepted.

Food pictures don’t do justice. Trust me, you want a bite.

Dang this potato salad is good.

My neighbors are better than your neighbors.

Kindness counts.

Always grateful.
